 This cake is such an essential to satisfy your sweer tooth. It's a chocolate lovers dream come true! The triple chocolate cake has such a spectacular flavour and texture, absolutely irresistible. I believe that the different colour layers make it look so gorgeus, and my family agrees with me too. After they tried it, they kept asking me to make it!

Whenever I go to any celebrations I really appreciate when the food is homemade, as it tastes so much better. Everyone has a differente way of decorating and making this dessert, it's such a classic! Therefore, you can find an immense amount of recipes on the Internet. Today, I will share with you my recipe, step by step.

Let's go to the kitchen!

Ingredients of the triple chocolate cake:

  • 150 grams of dark chocolate
  • 150 grams of milk chocolate
  • 150 grams of white chocolate
  • 3 curd sachets (This is 9 grams of curd powder. I will insert an image of the one I use below. We will use it as a thickener as this dessert will not be baked)
  • 750 ml of cream
  • 750 ml of whole milk (plus another 4 tablespoons)
  • 300 grams of Marie biscuits (Similar to a tea biscuit. You can also use digestive biscuits)
  • 140 grams of butter


1. Crush the biscuits with a blender. You can also place the biscuits in a bag on the table and crush them with a rolling pin.

2. Melt the butter in a saucepan or in the microwave

3. Mix the biscuits with the butter and add 4 tablespoons of milk. This will make the biscuit base softer. Then, take your cake mold and cover the bottom with the biscuit base. Put it in the fridge while we prepare the rest of the cake.

4. Put the chopped dark chocolate in a pot with 1 sachet of curd, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 250 ml of cream and 250 ml of milk. Stir it until it boils on a low heat.

5. Take the mold out of the fridge and make some strokes on the biscuit base. This way, when we cut the cake, it won’t split from the chocolate layers.

6. Pour the dark chocolate mixture on top of the base. Make sure that you use the back of a spoon as seen in the picture so that the change in temperature isn’t so abrupt. Distribute it evenly and put the mold in the fridge again while you prepare the milk chocolate layer.

7. Repeat the same process from step number 4 with the milk chocolate. Take the mold out of the fridge and make some more strokes on the layer of dark chocolate. Pour the milk chocolate mixture bit by bit with the help of a spoon, just like with the previous layer. Then, put it in the fridge while you prepare the white chocolate layer.

8. For the last layer, make the same mixture than in step 4 but with the white chocolate. Take the mold out of the fridge and make some more strokes in the milk chocolate layer. Pour the white chocolate mixture on top using the spoon method again. Decorate the cake as you like. I will show you three different ways I have decorated it. Hopefully it inspires you!
